Diary Notes If you want to keep a note about the contacts you make, this can be done with the aid of a Diary Note. These also enable you to send: • Phone Calls, • E-mails, • Faxes and Letters, and keep Diary Notes about them and all: • Messages you’ve left/received, • Appointments you’ve Made, • Meetings and Ideas you’ve had, • or anything else you like You can even set Reminders so that important matters are not forgotten. If you double-click the text you can edit it in MS WORD, or use Voice Recognition software if you wish. GEM permanently cross indexes Diary Notes on the Diary Tab under any Subject Heading for all the Organisations and People involved - even if the people concerned leave their current organisations. In other systems, if your contact leaves an organisation and you delete them – you loose all your contact notes too! (In GEM you say they have left and who they are now working for. GEM always lists all Diary Notes for an Employer - even those for ex-employees. For a Person it always lists all Diary Notes - even those for previous Employers!) |
