You don't need to be technically savvy to install or use GEM. Simply put in the CD and follow the on-screen instructions.  Then have a look at the 'Read Me' file or 'Quick Start Guide' to see the best way of proceeding from there.

GEM is designed for ordinary people. However, there may be issues with the organization and quality of the data in your old system, which if brought forward into GEM could cause a problem. If you intend to export data from your old system and import it into GEM it is advisable that you discuss this with us or your reseller first, to identify any pre-existing issues, and whether there is charge involved.

There is a GEM Quick Start Guide, System Overview and detailed User Manual provided with both the downloaded and CD version of GEM.  They can also be downloaded from this site.

If you wish to hit the ground running and prefer training, this can be provided for a small fee through On2it Software at your premises, at their offices, or through your Reseller.
