It depends what you mean by ‘up and running’. You should allow a few days familiarising yourself with GEM’s capabilities and planning which of its extensive facilities you intend to use. For actual installation you should allow half an hour or so per machine. From that point on the system itself will be up and running.
After that it depends upon whether you want to:
- Import data from a legacy system,
- Setup your own Hierarchical Categories, WORD Templates and so on.
If you do then the amount of time will depend upon the volumes involved and how much of a preliminary clean-up will be required.
