Clients who purchase a copy of GEM will own a license to use the software originally purchased in perpetuity. They will, however, need to pay for upgrades to new versions when they are released.
If a Client wishes to avoid the need to pay for future upgrades, they can purchase ‘Software Assurance’. This entitles them to all future upgrades to the modules they have purchased with an annual premium paid in advance by direct debit.
Clients can also lease GEM for a minimum period of a year, with either annual or monthly payments by direct debit. Leases automatically include 'Software Assurance'.
